Ring Size Guide

The most reliable ring size comes from measuring the intended finger with physical sizing rings close to the width of the band you plan to wear. If that is not possible, use a ring that already fits the same finger as a careful reference and treat home measurements as provisional.

Best option: a physical ring sizer

Ask a qualified jeweller to measure the intended finger and hand. Try the first reading, the size above it and the size below it. The right fit should pass over the knuckle with gentle resistance, sit securely without pinching and still come off without force.

Use a sizing ring close to the width of the product. A wide band or two rings worn together can feel tighter than a narrow sample carrying the same nominal size.

Second option: measure a ring that already fits

  1. Choose a round ring that fits the same finger on the same hand.
  2. Measure the open inside diameter across the widest point; do not include the metal edge.
  3. Record the result in millimetres and note whether the sample ring is narrow or wide.
  4. Send MOSO the number and method before ordering if the matching product size is unclear.

The left and right hands may not match. A ring from the middle finger is not a reliable substitute for the ring finger, and a distorted ring can produce a misleading diameter.

Paper, string and phone tools are rough checks

Paper can curl, string can stretch, and either can be pulled more tightly than a rigid ring. Screen and phone tools can also display at the wrong scale. If a home method is the only option, repeat it, compare the result with a ring that fits, and avoid tightening anything enough to restrict circulation.

Measure in ordinary conditions

Finger size changes with heat, cold, activity, hydration and time of day. In the UAE, wait after coming indoors from strong heat and avoid measuring immediately after exercise, a flight or prolonged air conditioning. Repeat the measurement on another ordinary day rather than choosing a size from one extreme reading.

Why this page no longer publishes a conversion chart

US, UK and European systems use different labels, and published conversion tables can round millimetre values differently. A precise-looking row can therefore create false confidence when the original method, chart standard or product increments are not the same. MOSO does not publish an unsourced universal chart on this page.

For the measurement logic, international-conversion cautions and band-width examples supported by GIA guidance, read How to Measure Ring Size in the UAE and GCC.

When the reading falls between sizes

Do not automatically choose the larger or smaller label. Consider the knuckle, the base of the finger, the width of the band and whether another ring will sit beside it. Ask about the exact product because full-eternity, pavé, channel-set and patterned designs may have limited resizing options.

Check the live product before ordering

The product page controls the size options currently offered. Browse the MOSO moissanite ring collection and open the exact item before relying on a measurement. For example, the Claire Round Moissanite Solitaire Engagement Ring page shows the options for that product only; it does not define sizing for another ring.

Before checkout

  • The intended finger and hand were measured.
  • The reading was repeated in normal conditions.
  • The knuckle and base of the finger were both considered.
  • The width of the sample was compared with the intended band.
  • The exact size option was checked again in the cart.

Exchange and resizing are separate questions

A measurement guide does not promise that a ring can be resized or exchanged. Read Can a Moissanite Ring Be Resized? for design limitations, and check the Refund Policy for current voluntary-exchange conditions.

Need help interpreting a measurement?

Use the Contact MOSO page and send the product link, intended finger, measurement in millimetres, method used and band-width information. The team can compare that information with the sizes actually listed, but cannot guarantee fit from an inaccurate home measurement.
